Air Shower are designed to quickly and effectively remove particulate prior to entering a cleanroom. The air shower selection criteria allow for high air-flow volume combined with high nozzle velocity, providing optimal operational power and force.

Air showers can greatly enhance your cleanroom’s performance by removing surface contamination from clothing and cleanroom garments. Gowning/changing room areas are the interface between the outside environment and a cleanroom environment. Unfortunately, the changing or gowning process itself releases contaminants from regular clothes that can settle onto the “clean” garments. Air showers blow off and remove much of this contamination preventing it from entering the clean space. 

 The worker passes through the entry door and a sensor activates interlock magnets, which lock the air shower and cleanroom doors.
